Almost ready to Re-open Shabby Sheep Wool!

Mickey has been on to me every day for working so hard.  But once I get out all of the dyeing stuff, I might as well dye LOTS of wool!  Especially when I'm trying to get my Etsy shop opened again. http://www.shabbysheepwool.etsy.com

Tomorrow I'll be doing the photography for the shop and hopefully by the end of the week I'll be OPEN for BUSINESS!!!

I'm Back!!!

I know in my heart I couldn't have done this without your prayers and well wishes.  Thank you again.

Peace,

Sheri

p.s. On shabbysheepwool I'll be donating a percentage of my sales to the American Cancer Society by the way of the Etsy group TeamEPE, Etsy Project Embrace.  Please see http://team.etsy.com/viewteam.php?id=685 to learn more about the group.

Springfield Hook-in

Yesterday was the 2nd annual hook-in at the Lake Springfield Boat House.  What a great day!!!  Great weather, great food, and great friends.  I was so glad I was able to go this year.  With the surgery I wasn’t sure I’d be able to.  But I did.  I stayed all day AND I kept my hair on all day!!!HOOK-IN 4-17-10 036

Carolyn Snyder of Cricket Street Wool was selling some beautiful applique patterns and beautiful hand dyed wool. (www.cricketstreetwool.com)

I’ll post more pictures this week.

It’s going to be a busy one.  I am going to start radiation the first week of May and I have two Dr. appointments this week to get ready for that.  (Looks like it’s going to be a long summer too.)

Hopefully when the radiation is over I can get back to my “normal life”!  Those who know me well wouldn’t call me normal!!

Peace to all,

Sheri

Now for the rugs!

As promised, here are the RUGS from Saturday's hook-in in Springfield, MO. I didn't even try to put names with the rugs~~notice I didn't embarrass myself and try to put names with faces yesterday either! I met many wonderful people, but Please don't ask me to name them. I'm terrible at that.

This was a little Tiny hooked pin on Mindy's sweater. It was hooked by Victoria Ingalls. Isn't it adorable? I want one!!!

I would like to thank everyone again, who came to our "first annual" Springfield hook-in. We had so much fun and we hope you thought we were good hostesses. We also hope you liked our city and our hookers! Please come back next year and bring your friends. I personally love meeting new friends and feel like I made some new ones.

Please leave me a comment if you were here Saturday and we met! (Or if you weren't and wished you were!)

I'll post a few more pics tomorrow.

Peace,

Sheri
