My first post on my new blog! Let me introduce myself. I have recently gone on disability after 18 years in the dental prosthetics business. I was involved in making crowns. It is a very demanding career. I have become disabled because of fibromyalgia.My passion is rug hooking. I took a class three years ago and I haven't stopped since. It is an obsession. I hook once a week with a great bunch of girls. I will post a picture of our group soon. I have also recently been learning in the dye pot. If I don't watch out, that may become an obsession too. I just finished the herb angel rug above. I hooked it in about a month. I've just been off work for two months and I hope to get a lot more hooking done. Most of my pain has been in my legs and hips but there are times when I can't hook also. I just pray it doesn't get any worse. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't hook.
