I'll draw the winner tonight at 6:00!

My sister is having us over for a Father's Day dinner this evening. Like I said, I'll have my daddy draw the winners name before we eat. (So I won't be too sleepy to do it)
I wish these little birdies could help him! How cute is that?

I'm making a rhubarb cake. I got the recipe from The Today Show. I'll let you know how it turns out and if it's good I'll share the recipe. I didn't even know if rhubarb was in season. But our local market has it.

Mickey has informed me that he WILL NOT TASTE IT!!! I'm not kidding. He looked like a four year old. He crossed his arms and said, "because I don't want to!" Now try cooking for someone like that. I can't even put an onion in anything. It gets pretty boring around here with the meals. How can you cook anything without onions? Basically he wants meat-plain, a vegetable-maybe with a little butter on it and potatoes-plain again. And I collect cookbooks!!! I gave most of them to my sister a few weeks ago. She's getting ready to start her new life with her man and he's a good eater!!!

Good Luck everyone and thanks for playing!
Peace,
Sheri

I haven't had rhubarb pie in ages. I loved it, but I have to use very little sugar now, so I make things that sweeten themselves. Tonight we are having strawberry shortcake.

Sorry about your picky eater -that's hard without even eating an onion! My husband grew up with bland english cooking but thank goodness he's willing to try different things and he found out what he was missing all those years! LOL! Can you bribe him to try something new one day a week - then if he enjoys it - two days a week, etc.?????
